Local eBay got it!

I just found a local seller at eBay offer American cotton and other sewing stuff at reasonable price! I bought some fabric and lace ribbon from the store.

Looking for simple project

I surfed more than 20 blogs searching for simple project. And I have decided to sew grab bag! -- and the blog's owner would make the kit for me. Thank you very much!

Soft Baby Shoes Handmade

I was inspired to sew this shoes by Kathy Miller, co-owner and creative director of Michael Miller Fabrics. She put up free pattern here! This is my first sewing project.

I dedicated this pair of shoes to my Thumbelina - Nur Adlina Dalila, who was born as a preemie (32-weeker).


The original pattern is too big for her, so I shrink it by 20% to match her little feet. Since I have nothing but needles and threads, this is handsewn soft baby shoes! So this is it!

Not perfect but iLike! I am sure to make more for her and also the brothers... The boys thought I was sewing shoes for them because I recycling their old shirts. Mama sews for you guys next time ok ;-)

I don't know what's going on with me... I started to enjoy surfing on sew-it-yourself, make-it-yourself stuff after some window-shopping surfing for my preemie-girl's clothes.

My first inspiration was from this tutorial (will sew this for my princess!) and I was shock that they have a huge sewers/crafters community on the net. Where was I before? I am totally in love but I am zero about sewing of course I know how to sew a button (I need to grab the sewing-for-idiot book!).

And recently I started to do some research on sewing machine. I am zero about operating this machine but I want one (how to define that?). A lot of people said new sewing machine is very easy to handle and use. Some people just reading the manual and start sewing - me?! me too! ;)
